Celebrate PBIS Assembly Success

Together our kindergarten classes brainstormed safety tips to share with our GES community.  We then put together a video to share. K student made great greeters, winning ticket pullers, and led the school in a Growth Mindset song What I Am by Will I Am.  Each day we are growing, improving, and being the best person we can be!  PLEASE go see the video on the GES homepage.

Merry Christmas to all........

 We are thankful for the very special Grinch party planned by our room parents.  The supplies and volunteers sure made a day of magic for all the children in Room 204! Enjoy the spirit of the holidays with your families. The photo booth was a big hit.

growing, GrOwInG, GROWING

In kindergarten we have noticed repeating patterns, describing, extending and creating but this week explored growing patterns.  Did you know pattern recognition is said to have the highest correlation with general intelligence?  Patterns can be found in ideas, words, symbols, numbers, and images.  After creating growing patterns with a partner we did a "museum walk" around our room to learn from one another. Below are souvenir photos of our time at the museum.
