Award Ceremony....IMPORTANT INFO Read ON!

Today we had our class award ceremony.  It was great that almost every award, the children could guess who should receive it.  Tomorrow is our school wide award ceremony. It is at 1:30 in the gym. It is optional for parent to attend. Kindergarten did awards in the classroom today so there are no k awards except for perfect attendance.  All students will be welcome to leave with parents at the conclusion  of the ceremony. We will not know the end time..........but children may leave from the gym with you.  Their back packs will be packed ready to go in their cubbies. The entire school will be eating lunch
together on Thursday. You might want to send a beach towel for you child to picnic on.

First Grade Here We Come

We have been teaching first grade our phonics dance song.  Today while in the classroom they shared their AR pirate song and we even tried out first grade desks!! Looks like Max has settled in well.

Color Blast

Thanks to those who were able to come out for the first color blast. It sure was a fun time for all.

Our days of school are winding down.  I wanted to share some special happenings in our classroom.

Have you heard about our new behavior incentive?  Each day we work as a team to earn 5 stars.  If the stars are earned we pop a balloon.  Inside there is an event we can look forward to the next day at school.

All students are encouraged to participate in the summer reading program at the Grafton Public Library this summer.  They will have incentives.  Information will come home with students.  They will also have special events held at the library that may be of interest to your children.
